Got my 2013 FFHybrid in March. I have just over 7k miles now (Aug). Winter mpg was bad; like between 35 and 42 mpg or so. However, since early July, I've been taking weekends from North Jersey down south to the Jersey Shore (150 mile trip each way). After years of driving my 2007 Prius I found it to "hum" at 57 miles per hour (at 57 mph I was geting 57 miles per gallon) for the trip "down the shore". So with my new FFH, I did the same thing: cruise control at 57 mph, all straight highway, while the rest of my fellow Jersians flew over the 65 mpg limit somewhere in the upper to mid 70's mph. Anyway, I was not getting great mpg for those weekly trips down/back - like maybe 42 mpg or so. So on the past few trips I figured, if you can't beat 'em... and I stuck to a solid 68 mpg cruise control for the trips down/back. To my surprise I got 46 mpg once; then 47 mpg a couple other times. Sure, ICE was on, but the battery was obviously helping out. My lifetime mpg is only 43.0 now (due to crummy mpg from the winter till now). I know we're all unhappy with mpg - being unable to consistently hit the advertized 47 mpg. But this 68 mph cruise control on highway thing is, for me, promising to see my mpg's in the upper 40's. Anyone else finding things anything like this when driving + or - 65 mph giving very good mpg's?

I have a 2013 Fusion Hybrid and went with WeatherTech. They offer expensive "custom fit LINERS" and the less expensive "ALL WEATHER MATS". I've had the All Weather Mats on my Passat and liked them but I thought I'd try the more expensive CUSTOM LINERS this time and am disappointed. The custom LINERS are made of PLASTIC and rather thin. Okay... maybe it's a durable plastic, but it's still plastic and my feet slip around down there. On the driver's side there are clips to hold them in place, but on the passenger side, there's nothing. And the whole passenger "custom liner" itself slips & slides against the new Fusion carpeting. I called WeatherTech and after some insistence on my part, they acknowledged that the liners can slip around and they sent me two, 6-inch pieces of Velcro for me to stick on the liners, so it could "grab" the carpeting. Big whoop for the money. I would not buy the custom fit LINERS again. At least the rubber MATS were thick and would stay in place. The Liners are a disappointment (and way over priced). Just though I'd pass that along.

2013 FFHybrid new March 1, 2013. Passenger window won't auto-up. Brought the car to Dealer on May-15. They told me it was a switch problem. Waited till part came in. Next appt was Jun-17. They installed the new switch, then told me "whoops, my bad - it's a software problem". Called today. They say still no s/w fix. I've read the forums and followed the steps to re-set the auto-up. Does not work. In fact, I hold the switch up to the stopping point. Wait then hold the button up again for 2 sec's. After that, I press the DOWN button and "thunk". It does an "impulse" down and stays dead for about 10 seconds before it will go down. I can not reset or get the passenger window to auto up. Any thoughts out there? Thanks.

Just got my 2013 Fusion Hybrid SE two days ago. I asked the Salesman if the FFH will regen / recharge like when coasting down hill. NOT while gently holding the brake - but simply coasting. After some research on his part he simply said - there's no documentation to say that it will regen when coasting. Well I've owned hybrids for 8 years or so now. An early Honda INSIGHT (2000), a 2007 PRIUS and now the 2013 FFH. Both the early INSIGHT and the Prius would - yes - recharge when coasting. So I was surprised when the Salesman could not concretely answer the question for my FFH. So I played with the left hand side of the 2013 dash to display a vertical BAR that shows mpg/effeciency... and when in EV Mode, the bar is shaded BLUE. So when driving the past couple of days, I can clearly see I'm in EV mode (no ICE going) and when I lift my foot off the gas and coast downhill, the EV Mode stays on PLUS, the little "arrow" displays on top of the BATTERY icon which, according to the manual, means that the battery is charging. So I need someone to tell me otherwise, please. But as I see it, my 2013 FFH really DOES regen / recharge coasting downhill. And not because ICE is charging it or from tapping on the brake - but simply by regen/recharge from intertia. Any body else see those results - or have another explanation? Thanks. Jim PS: Both the early INSIGHT and the Prius would "perfectly coast" without any regen-drag by simply throwing the tranny into "N"eutral. That disengaged the Honda/Toyota hybrid regen mini-generators and would let you "free-wheel" coast to your heart's content. The FFH owners here would have to confirm if that's how it works on a Ford hybrid, too.
