+1 on the residue issue on both windshield and rear window. I have cleaned with paper towel and windex and the paper towel shows a black residue from cleaning. Since both windows are difficult to clean (especially the back) completely, this could be a safety issue when the residue builds up. We have had our Fusion since feb 2013 and have driven 10k miles. Does anyone think that this residue film will surface as a recall item? Does this problem occur on both cloth and leather seat interiors?

I had TSB 13B07 applied today and the first update also failed. The second update did work when it was installed personally by the shop foreman of the dealer. He mentioned that they were using version 86.0 of the installation software, so evidently anything greater than 85.05 will work. The service manager of this large dealer was kind of clueless about what the update provides, but the shop foreman knew how to fix the failed update. Evidently Ford's update software has some issues according to the foreman.

They don't like the trunk space (engineering trade offs we've learned to live with) but overall a reasonable review. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/06/09/automobiles/autoreviews/aiming-for-the-hybrids-sweet-spot.html

Yes, a friend of mine just got a Budget rental in San Francisco through Priceline for a week at $10/ day. The rental was a loaded 2013 Platinum White SE hybrid with luxury driver assist packages + moonroof. Such a deal! -
Depends on the eye of the beholder. My wife loves her Ginger Ale FFH and we special ordered the color. Looks like we now have a collector's item!

Howdy neighbor. We just got our delivery yesterday after a long wait. So far enjoying the vehicle for its quiet, solid build, and features. No defects found at this time and averaging 38.6 MPG with only 105 miles total mileage.
