  1. Paul...it unplugs with a little lock clip opposite the glued side. Pry the lock clip with your fingernail. It takes a little patience. You can do it.
  2. hybridbear...it is marginal. The engine is a little louder, but what is most audible is the road noise (especially on wet roads). I would rather hear that and have my radio set up correctly than hear the "burp" each time the ICE kicks in. IMO...pro out-weighs the con.
  3. Paul...to be honest, I am showing my age. The ceilings of cars used to be glued to the top and you dared not touch them. The glue would desentigrate and the fabric would droop and flap. The part drooped and flapped we called the head liner (don't know if that is a "technical" term, but was a generic word we used). Sorry for any confusion. I will post a picture this afternoon after church.
  4. I just copied and pasted from my post this morning...wanted to be sure you saw this...hope it helps. Disconnected the ANC Microphones this morning to eliminate the problem of the sub firing when the ICE came on. It only took about 15 minutes to disconnect all three microphones. Here are the steps: 1. Pop the cover for the screws on the handles over the passenger and driver door. 2. Remove the handles (2 Screws). * My Fusion has a sunroof, so these next steps may be a little different for non sunroof models. I could pull the headliner down where the sunroof opens and do the work. 3. Pull down the head liner (NOT THE "FABRIC/CARD BOARD" LOOKING PART! That part is attached to another piece that pulls down very easily then snaps back in place when finished. 4. The plug is about 3 to 5 inches from the microphone. Unclip the lock and unplug. 5. Pop the headliner back in place and reattach the handles. 6. In the rear, pull the headliner down the same way from the back window. 7. Reach in and unplug that microphone. 8. Pop the headliner back in place. No more "rumbles" when the ICE kicks in. This was a lot easier than I thought it would be.

  6. My STUPID System decided to "perfom scheduled maintenance" while I was using NAV in the mountains 5 minutes from my turn. I took the wrong turn, and was 30 minutes late arriving. I was less than pleased. The FFH is pretty good, but I hate the "technology" compared to what I had in my 2012 Dodge Charger R/T. The NAV sucks (Dodge using Garmin), the scheduled mainenance is a Joke, and S-XM does not give access to favorites like the dodge did (with the Dodge, you could pull up your favoites screen and see what was playing and check the sports favorites to tune to any game in your foavorites or just view the score.). It is getting to the point, the only time I love my FFH is at the gas pump.
  7. The same thing happened to me...the only difference is my dealer called Ford to get approval to install the update and A4 card. I have NAV on mine, but with approval, they installed the update. It even shows the uninstall of the old software and the install of the new software on www.syncmyride.com
  8. Yes you can. You have to start SIRI on the iPhone and the rest is down via bluetooth, speakers, and mic.
  9. Does anyone use the Sirius Alert feature? All I get is the option to tune to the station/cancel/disable alerts. I want to bring up a list of my favorites that are playing now so I can select which to tune in to.
  10. I just bought a FFH and I noticed the "Alert" with the SiriusXM Radio. This is a similar feature that I had with my Charger. On the Charger, you could bring up a screen that showed any of your favorites (Alerts) so you could easily switch from song to song. Is there a similar screen with the Fusion Hybrid? If so...how do you get to it?
