  1. Good question. I assume you could tell from the build date. If not, the dealer could probably hook it up to their computer and let you know.
  2. I'm not communicating very well today. I meant that 49 mpg is great considering that the ICE was on for at least the initial part of this morning's drive because of the warm-up. I suppose the shorter warm-up time helped.
  3. Thanks for the reply and info. We didn't do the Palm a Desert route which is even more mountainous. We went 111 to 10 then 74 (?) to 79. But there are still some big hills. Drove the car this morning for about 16 miles. I got 49 mpg for the 1st 3.5 miles which was great because of the engine warm-up. The mpg for the remaining 12.5 miles was 44, still good.
  4. It's good, maybe better than before the update/recalibration. I was surprised to get 44 mpg on a 95 mile trip last weekend from Palm Springs, CA to my home in Oceanside. There's some mountainous driving involved which probably didn't help the mpg. I drove conservatively, but not obsessively. I usually average from 97-99% on braking. Tonight, I got 49 mpg on a 15 mile trip. Outside of a downhill run, that's one of the better mileage figures I've seen from the car. Unfortunately, eco + isn't working now. I assume that computer does not yet recognize that I'm frequently driving to my home as it previously did. Hopefully, this will change soon. My wife and I really like this car. Dan

    Great car!

A couple of nights ago, my wife and I traded in our 2012 Focus on a silver 2013 FFH. We were unhappy with the Powershift Trans. in the Focus. It was never right, even after a couple of re-programmings. Otherwise, the Focus was a very nice car. The Fusion is awesome! It was the only one on the lot but came with a few choice options including MyFord Touch, Nav., moonroof and 18's. It rides and drives great, and has more than enough power to keep up with traffic. I love the little touches like the multiple power outlets and the AC outlet. So far, the touchscreen seems to work great and is easy to use, contrary to what I've read. We didn't have that in the Focus. Dan
