I have a spot wearing in a very similar fashion and location to the OP. I have my seat quite a ways back, but still don't think it's a spot that I touch much if at all. My only guess is that it is in a location impacted by components below it but I haven't noticed it being excessively hot or wet. I have just shy of 12k miles on it, so I hurried to get it checked out by my dealer. Ford is sending new carpets for replacement.

If anyone is keeping track, got my check yesterday. Woohoo! Details on my car's build and arrival timeline are below.

Picked it up Monday, March 18. It arrived at the dealer on Saturday but had to go through PDI and detailing first. thst puts my order ie to arrival at about 9.5 weeks. I was a little put off by the guilt tripish extended warranty/Simonizing/maintenance sales pitch by the business manager but my salesman got my $750 coupon to go through despite it being about 4 days expired so hard to complain much. Very early impressions are good. Definitely like my color and wheel choice and no issues with MFT so far. Cheers! morpheus3013

Update! I've been watching ETIS and found the build date of 3/2! Build time from window sticker creation was 8 days, so not too far off earlier guesses. Just talked with Ford and it is to arrive at the dealer on 3/19. I had the private cash via brochures sent a while back and of course the last one expires on 3/12. I just ordered some more so I'll be crossing my fingers. Cheers! morpheus3013

Good news (and bad news?) I just chatted with ford.com and they gave me my VIN as 3FA6P0LU3DR260702 but I can't find it's window sticker or anything else on it online. Should I be worried or does this just mean it's not in "the system" yet? Thanks for any info. Cheers! morpheus3013

Greetings all! I found this forum while researching my vehicle purchase - thanks for all the great info! Just ordered my Hybrid SE today. See signature line for details. I definitely considered the Hybrid Titanium (prefer its rear end treatment with the exhaust and full LED headlights), but to me the wheel choices for it (only one) took it out of the equation. The salesmen told me around 6 weeks for it to come in, then it slowly stretched to 6-8 weeks during the ordering process, but it sounds like this is optimistic. The priority on the order confirmation is 15 - I understand that may give some vague time scale (?). Anyway, I'm very excited for it and to have found this site and will update my status as the process transpires. Cheers! morpheus3013
