I found more under the hood. Where the hood skin is folded to the frame!

Warranty took care of it. Yes. it is disheartening to see it. I had a Ranger that did the same thing. It was white and much easier to see.

It's just a storage system for the vapor. The ECU controls the purge solenoid and opens it so the vapor can be drawn into the engine. That's why you don't want to overfill your tank. You can get liquid gas into the canister assy and mess things up.

It might be the carbon canister assembly. They're electronically controlled and in a black box type mount.

I found rust on the inside edge of both rear doors. Where the door skins are bent over the door frame there is rust bubbling the paint. Here's a couple of pics.

It's not a problem for me. Mine works just fine.

Just talked to my Ford dealer parts guy and my mats are covered under 12/12000 warranty. The drivers mat tore and all the snow melt is going into the carpet. I'm getting a brand new set of mats fro Ford. :happy feet:

You got them from a dealer, correct? What dealer was this? Including tires? Never mind. I've checked out a couple of Ebay auctions and they're way over the price you snagged yours at.

Yup. Kinda pricey. What does Ford charge for one wheel?

There's a store on Ebay that has a lot of OEM Ford wheels. I think the name is "OEM Wheels". I've bought a couple of things off the site, but never any wheels. Check there and see if any are available.
