Have a very mild road rash on one wheel of our 13 FFH. The wheels are the optioned 18" painted luxury wheels. Code 64B. Trying to find touch up for it. Any ideas? Thanks

The car goes out a lot. A couple of 60 mile round trips a week and many shorter 4-5 miles. We live 4 miles from town and the car goes in almost every day for something.

Getting tired of taking it to the dealer for the BS message. Dealer has had it at least five times so far. Now, every two weeks the BS comes on. I charge the battery up and it's good for another two weeks, then repeat the cycle. I don't know what else to do.

After six visits to the dealer, were still getting the battery saver message about 2 weeks after the battery is charged up. I'm just re-charging the battery every couple of weeks. I don't think Ford knows what to do -or- they know and it will cost to much for a recall, playing ignorant. Just like GM and their ignition issue.

Car came home today. Dealer needed to contact Engineers at Ford to help diagnose the problem. Replaced the shifter assembly. So far so good, although I usually get the BS messages after a week or two. Fourth time at the dealership for this issue. Hope it worked this time. Time will tell. Not really optimistic.

I think the dealer is doing everything they can. If the shifter replacement does not work, it may be time to bite the bullet and replace the car. I have never had this much trouble with any car I have owned as with this FFH. I guarantee it would not be another Ford.

My FFH has been at the dealership for the past two days with the BS messages. Just got a call from them. They stated they found the problem, caused by the shifter assembly drawing current at all times. They ordered a new assembly, should get it back in a few days. I think I heard something about this shifter assembly in a prior message? Time will tell.

Heading back to the dealer this week. BS message back again after a week.

Very well put.

November 2012, message is back upon ignition shut off after getting it back from the dealer today. What TSB should they be looking at?

Dealer updated the DCDC module today. Update obtained from Oasis. So far no problems. We'll see if this worked. If not, back to the dealer. Truthfully, we like the car but it has been a PITA. More than any other car we have ever had. We normally trade every three years or so, this one might be sooner. Hate to take a bath on it so we will try to keep it going.

At dealer today. They checked it: battery was ok, but, continued to get conflicting readings from the computer? Computer may be bad. Had to leave it there. At least they gave me a loaner.

Mine is going in tomorrow for this. Rather irritating. If I put the trickle charge on overnight, the message goes away for a couple weeks. Been going on for many months.
