  1. I actually purchased the car already rebuilt. It has been great so far. I actually noticed that the rubber boots on both CV joints (ball joints) were ripped, and the drivers side is now going bad so I will get them replaced soon. Other than that, it has been great and I really love the car.
  2. I purchased a hybrid with 20k miles and a salvage/rebuilt title just over a year ago. At the time, I asked the guy if the airbags had been deployed and he told me no (I didnt believe him, but I didnt not believe him either). I kind of figured that a person may be able to lie about something like that as there is really no recourse for me if he does. I knew I was taking a risk by buying it either way. So tonight I was going to pop the hood and I noticed this thing that says "Airbag" on it just under the drivers side console. It obviously appears that it was deployed and then stuffed back into the case. Could someone please take of picture on their car of this so I can see what it looks like from the factory? I may go to Ford and have them replace the airbags depending on how much it costs. I attached a picture of the airbag.
  3. I want to purchase a red-top or yellow-top battery for my new ford fusion hybrid. I can't seem to find one for this car. Does anyone know where I could buy one (or a similar AGM battery)?
  4. I've also noticed pulsing when my brakes are getting worn out. Replaced brakes and it went away. Seems to not always be the rotors. I think it happens when the pads wear uneven on each side of the rotor.
  5. Just my 2 cents. I've found EBC green stuff to be fairly poor. Low initial bite (as the guy above said), tear up the rotors. They do have very low dust and last a good amount of time, but at the expense of braking and your rotors. This was in a 94 Cobra with 2000 Brembo brake kit.
