If you do not have the back-up sensors this bumper will work. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BRAND-NEW-2...sspagenameZWDVW

True - but it does come on the Zephyr...although I am sure it's incorporated in the price. I'm happy though, I couldn't stand opening up my hood and looking at that mess! LOL

Does your engine bay look like this... But you would rather have it look like this.... Then just do this... I am listing retail prices only...there are online vendors/merchants that these items may/may not be found through so of course your actual cost could be less than the listed prices. 6H6Z-6A949-A Engine cover (1) @ $75.00 2L1Z-6N958-AA Ball stud (1) @ $18.00 4 ARE NEEDED 2L7Z-9P686-AA Insulator (1) @ $17.00 4 ARE NEEDED That is all the components needed for this mod, once installed engine cover will snap into place. Below is a breif but accurate installation for your info: The pic below shows where on the top of your engine to install the 6mm threaded ball stud. There are 4 locations that look like this--install a ball stud in all four locations. On the back of your engine cover you will find 4 locations with this factory attached plastic bracket. Take your 4 rubber insulators and install one in each location. The first pic is the bracket and the second pic is after the insulators are installed. Now turn your engine cover over and snap it into place.. You now have the option of leaving your cover just as it is or finding decals of your choice. I have added the following pic as a sample and this is what I now have on my vehicle..

Hello Keller, Welcome to the forum! You may already know this but you do not have to remove the third brake light if you do not want to. They make that same style spoiler without the L.E.D. light also. I personally thought the brake light in the rear deck of the vehicle dated it back to the mid 80's and I wanted to remove it for a long time. If you do in fact want to remove it mine was very simple. There is a wiring harness with a plug on the end of it that the brake light connects to. You can visually see this by looking in the trunk under the rear deck. It is not hidden under anything. Simply unplug that plug and then proceed to push forward on the two tabs you see sticking down through the rear deck carpeting. Once those two tabs are released the whole brake light assembly will come out as a single unit. To cover the holes that were exposed I made a cardboard template and then traced the outline onto a piece of 13/64th plywood. Then applied a soft batting material to give my final layer of leather some depth. Spoiler when I purchased it was $199.00 with an added cost of painting of around $75.00. My model of Fusion already had a wiring harness and plug under the trunk liner material ready to accept the L.E.D. light from this spoiler. The light itself has a Ford part # and the plug matched perfectly. I will provide you a link to a post I made to give you even more detailed information about the rear deck cover as soon as I find it. Here is the link....plus you get the added benefit of more viewing area out of the rear window! http://www.fordfusionclub.com/index.php?topic=111891.0

Hey, thanks for the tip...Quo

Thanks Mutnat! I apologize to the other members for not answering your questions.. I don't make it by here as much as I used to since the forum changed some of the format. My computer wasn't very accepting of the changes and it's hard for me to navigate throughout the site. My computers age may have something to do with it but works fine on many other sites.

18" Ford Edge rims on my AWD Fusion
Double Vision replied to Double Vision's topic in Wheels & Tires
Hello Dirtyred, The chrome Edge wheel is basically an expensive hubcap with the official name being 'wheelskins'. Underneath it is exactly this style of rim with a chrome plated ABS plastic. I live in a four seasons area and did not want two sets of tires/wheels (winter/summer) to switch out so I thought that this premium painted factory wheels would fulfill my needs and hold up to the fours season weather. I have also read complaints that dirt and debris have a habit of collecting between the wheel and the wheel cover on the "chrome" wheels causing some owners greif. They are a dime a dozen on E-bay for the chrome. -
The place I used is no longer around but my kit is a 'SHERWOOD' brand. The link below also uses the SHERWOOD brand which is the same brand the dealers use if you had one dealer installed. Their schematic shows the radio piece with this kit. They have other colors available other than this one listed for auction. Price is about the same as mine cost $195.00 over a year ago....Yes there are cheaper ones but with something like this you get what you pay for. My kit still looks like the day it was installed. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FORD-FUSION...sspagenameZWD1V

Ah yes, the upper window spoiler...I see that now in your original post. I say add them both!! :happy feet:

First you should (or need to) check the bolt pattern and just as importantly the wheel offset. The offset is measured in mm..such as the Fusion factory 17" rim is 44 mm. I believe the bolt pattern is 5 x 114.3 mm.

Ironically, the SS Gen1 spoiler is what I removed.. I liked it o.k. but never fully 'loved' it. Once I saw this one available I knew it was my ticket to remove the HUGE obstruction in the rear window called a 'third brake light'. Now it looks much cleaner on the rear deck and I have much more viewing area out the back from the rear view mirror......

Hello Drive one, Glad you could make it work for you....looks good. This is the first time I've seen it on this color of Fusion.

Most (reputable) kits I have seen have a rounded (contoured) edge on the pieces so they do not look like a flat sticker applied. Below is a pic of brushed nickel to give you an idea...you also have the option of using the radio surround piece or not, here it was applied..

Go to www.youtube.com and type in 'ford fusion exhaust' and several videos (with sound) are available with the Magnaflow exhaust. The kit for the V6 models does not work with the AWD Fusions.

WOW! $325.00 for stick on hood scoop.... You can get a whole new hood with dual integrated inlets for about $500.00 here... http://mrt-direct.com/concept/appearance/Fusion/index.php
