Please​ I want to know that Ford Fusion Energi have a problem with gearbox like overheating or other any problem due to continuous use electrical mode or EV mode I'm not using the engine every time .I have Energi 2013 and some says this problem seen correctly​ in this model and was fixed in 2014 and above

I drive my 2013 Energi exclusively in EV Only mode and have never had a problem in the over 4 years that I have owned it.

I'm thinking that most members with trans problems drove a high percentage of HWY miles which puts more stress on the bearing problem so in EV the power is way down and would guess the trans would never have a problem. It is covered under warranty for 8yrs/100k miles. :)
