Head Unit Replacement

Has anyone replaced the head unit in a 13' and up Fusion yet? I swear I just looked through all the forums, and have seen where people have changed the speakers, but not a head unit.

 

Mine is just the plane jane model, and is beginning to act up on me.

Car has over 113k on it, and now the stereo is starting to have some bugs, will switch itself from media to fm without being touched, then will refuse to go back to media until it is turned on and off. Occasionally the volume will creep up or down depending on which way the knob is turned until it's either off or unbearable.

It sounds more like as issue with the FCIM or the SCCM

Have you tried pulling the negative battery cable off for 10 minutes to allow the CANBUS to clear and reset?
