Neither Key fob will work. Dealer tells me to bring car in and they will look at when they get a chance. Have to call roadside service. 40 other people ahead of me at dealership with appointments. It's Friday afternoon and they say maybe by Monday or Tuesday they will get to it. I have no car. They say that I should rent one. They won't pay for it. This is a Ford Motor problem not a Ford Dealer problem. I thought they represented Ford. But I guess not.

I thought they represented Ford. But I guess not.

 

Except for Tesla, all dealers are independent of the manufacturers. (In some states this is required by law.) Every time I've bought a new car I've had to sign a document to not hold the dealer responsible for any problems with the cars, that it is the manufacturer responsible.

Had the same problem, but moved the FOB to the center counsel area between the cup holders and it reset and I was on my way.
