Fos01 Report post Posted February 20, 2014 Average temp at drive time has been in the low teens for the past month! This yesterday we made it up to 65 degrees, drive time on the way home and my MPGs increased 22%. It hard to believe I felt bad about ONLY getting 38 MPGs. But this evening I hit 48.7 MPGs on my 22 mile drive home... Life is good! 2 hybridbear and ptek reacted to this
corncobs Report post Posted February 20, 2014 (edited) I agree it has been very nice the last two days. This morning I almost cracked the 50 MPG for the first time in 4 month. Edited February 20, 2014 by corncobs

DeeCee Report post Posted February 21, 2014 Saw 49 mpg on a 130 mile round trip today with half the miles on an interstate with cruise set at 70 mph. Got up to 78 here this afternoon and the first half of the trip was 55 mpg. Return trip this evening was with temp dropping to 43 and mileage also dropping to 45 mpg. Bring on the Spring temps! hybridbear Report post Posted February 21, 2014 And for us the Polar Vortex is coming back. Overnight lows next week are predicted to be -15 to -20 with daytime highs of only -5 to 0... Last year we still had snow and cold weather until mid-May. I sure hope that we don't get a repeat of that this year!
