B25Nut Report post Posted February 15, 2014 Due to the bailouts and other factors, I'll never buy a GM product again, but I love this commercial. I know that some here may find it offensive, but I feel it is what America is all about, and I'm proud of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGJSI48gkFc 3 rjent, GrySql and corncobs reacted to this
Riggo Report post Posted February 15, 2014 Odd he says that we're the only ones going back to the moon, since China has already landed there and plans a manned mission. But that's a pretty nice nice looking caddy.

But that's a pretty nice nice looking caddy. Technically only the rover has landed. So it really doesn't count. ;)
corncobs Report post Posted February 15, 2014 Hopefully the Chinese don't steal the keys from the US rover ;) maybe it's already gone and E.T. is enjoying the ride.
Sleddog Report post Posted February 16, 2014 If they steal the keys, they probably could not figure out how to drive it.
B25Nut Report post Posted March 27, 2014 This is Ford's response to the ELR commercial. At the least, I'm disappointed in Ford for doing it. Personally, I'm getting tired of being told I don't care about the environment since I don't compost. We don't produce any food scraps by bringing home In-N-Out burgers, and I always eat everything that's on my plate. 1 GrySql reacted to this
corncobs Report post Posted March 28, 2014 Ouch that one hurts what the heck Ford? Maybe they should ask the two college students that did the Tesla "commercial" to come up with a cool video.
hybridbear Report post Posted March 29, 2014 I thought the Ford reaction video was awesome! I think that this is finally decent marketing for the Energi models! Who can deny the message of the commercial? All of us should be trying to make the world better. Driving a hybrid or PHEV is one way to make the world better. The Cadillac ELR driver is trying to make the world worse with his attitude and materialism. Ford now is attaching their hybrids/PHEVs with ppl who care about making the world better. People who try to make the world better. Unlike the selfish ELR owner. I think that this is a fantastic advertisement and I hope that Ford puts it on network TV. 1 Ted Swing reacted to this
acdii Report post Posted March 30, 2014 Been driving Hybrids since 2007, in fact April 2nd will be 7 years since I got the pPpPpRius. I do see Ford has come up with some better commercials showing what the car's features are, like the self parking. They have a long way to go to catch up to what Toyota and Mazda are putting out. As for GM, they are way behind and late in the game when it comes to Hybrids. I have yet to see them come up with a viable family sedan like the Camry and Fusion. The Volt is too expensive and only seats 4. To think, GM could have cornered the market on EV with the EV1, but look what they did with that one. 1 hybridbear reacted to this
rjent Report post Posted March 31, 2014 I just watched "Who killed the electric car" the other day. Both of those commercials are just that. Marketing. I am sick of marketing to be honest. What is worse, they are both right in their point of view. It is all politics. I am sick of politics, the kind of politics that "Killed the electric car". We are being manipulated my FFH friends, and there is nothing we can do about it. :/ Damn I am grumpy, must be past my bedtime ..... :baby:Been driving Hybrids since 2007, in fact April 2nd will be 7 years since I got the pPpPpRius.
