dalesky Report post Posted September 4, 2013 (edited) Taking a trip soon, and I stopped by the library to pick up a couple of books on CD. At home I broke out the 16GB flash drive, and started copying each disc to it. Chose to copy using WMA 48000bps rate. MUCH faster than the 96000 rate, and I have room for a number of books. I am ripping just 12 discs, and may put some music on it too.Playing the books is straight forward. Insert the stick, start the car (engine on or accessories) choose entertainment and the stick should be visible, with the album art even. Really pleased with, especially in light of having only a single CD player.I used Cyberlink Power2Go software. rjent Report post Posted September 4, 2013 Yeah I purchased the Millennium series (Girl with the Dragon Tatoo) and ripped them to mp3 and got all three books on one thumb drive. Absolutely wonderful read and I have done the same with some of Nora Roberts of my wifes collection (yeah, they can be entertaining). It is amazing how the miles melt away with a book being read. But the all of the books are just riveting to me .... Those books are so interesting! The original Swedish movies are amazing too by the way.
