Revised Tachometer Display for 2014?

Recommended Posts

Just curious. The attached photo is on Ford's website for the 2014 FFH. Is this tach screen new for 2014 and is there any possibility Ford will pass it on to us 2013 FFH owners? Also looks like they moved the lane keep diagram and some other things in the left-hand display. Do any of your 2014 owners actually have this screen or is it just a marketing photo that is not really available in the car? At first I thought this photo was of a non hybrid car, but it has the efficiency leaves.

It just might be a marketing photo. I saw this photo before buying my 2013 FFH. When I got the car and went looking for this tach display in MyView it wasn't there. It just might show up in the 2014 FFH. The tach in the FFH does show the RPM but it has no relation to MPH. The tach might read differently during the same road conditions because the HVB is being charged and needs more RPM. Another time you might have a high SOC and using more traction motor, so the RPM is lower.

That dash is used in several different models. My guess is they just cropped it together to show both the hybrid and non hybrid features.

That Tach screen is the same as in my Flex, the right side is identical to the Fusion with the exception of the leaves.
