gadgetguy Report post Posted August 22, 2013 I have been thinking about creating a duplicate car on Fuelly and keeping track of mileage after the update separately. Thoughts??I actually thought about doing the same thing once I get the update installed.
jcg1005 Report post Posted August 22, 2013 I may create a new car for Post PCM update mileage, and then enter my fill ups twice - once in each car. That way I'd have a complete record as well. 1 majorleeslow reacted to this
corncobs Report post Posted August 22, 2013 djminfll did that with his FFH after the PCM update. It's kinda nice but it will screw up the average calculation even more.

It's kinda nice but it will screw up the average calculation even more.I guess this topic is posted twice ??????I actually have never reset my Trip2, so I will still maintain an approximate average for lifetime. And I continue to add my fillups to my original fuelly page, so I'll maintain it there as well.
hermans Report post Posted August 22, 2013 This is so funny. The OP posted identical threads and the very same people are posting the same in both threads. What a hoot. 1 hybridbear reacted to this

What a hoot. I acknowledged that it was posted twice, I was responding to corncobs comment. I'm actually surprised that one of these two threads haven't been locked. hybridbear Report post Posted August 22, 2013 I locked the other one since it's a duplicate.
hybridbear Report post Posted August 22, 2013 I didn't split Fuelly for before and after the PCM update but I did split out our Road Trips from the rest of our driving. I may still split out before and after the PCM update but at the very least I'll reference it in my notes on Fuelly.

acdii Report post Posted August 22, 2013 I did that with Sylvi, winter and summer stats to see the difference. 1 majorleeslow reacted to this
jcg1005 Report post Posted August 27, 2013 I am going to do it and post fuel ups to both cars on Fuelly. Good idea for Winter/Summer. I may do that as well. The other thing I have done is just written in the notes the general weather for the week (my commute / running around results in 1 tank per week 99% of the time). i.e. "Cold/rainy all week" or "windy" or "hot". Just as a note to myself when you see spikes in the mileage.
