bassnutz Report post Posted December 28, 2006 Can we get some pictures during the day? They look pretty nice. Sorry man, I wish I could. If you look to the right, you'll see "Fusion takes hard hit for owner", that's the car they were on. I no longer have that car, it was totaled. I already have all the stuff I need to do it to the new Fusion, I'll be sure to post pictures as soon as I do it. And I'll make sure I get daytime pictures as well. sram Report post Posted December 29, 2006 Here's a few stots of my taillights (at night because I just took them) I am new to forum. Would like to know how you seperated the clear outside coverof the tail lamp? What supplies did you use. I want mine like the photos because I also do not like all the chrome. Thanks
bassnutz Report post Posted December 29, 2006 It's one of the easiest things to do. First, you need to get your hands on a can of VHT nightshade. (You can get it HERE) I went to a local sign shop and had them make me up 2 bass clefs. I pulled off the taillights, placed the bass clef stickers where I wanted them, taped off the areas where the reverse lights come on, then sprayed on three light coats. Be sure to let each coat dry before applying another coat. One thing I plan on doing this time that I didn't do the last time is buy a can of clearcoat and spry that over the tint to make it nice and shiny. I plan on doing the new taillights this Saturday, I'll be sure to take pictures as I'm doing it.

bassnutz Report post Posted December 30, 2006 Well, I need to buy new taillights. These came out like crap. For some reason, they came out better last time. Lots of runs this time around. Oh well.
