Sleddog Report post Posted June 11, 2013 (edited) Here's the checklist I will be using to do the acceptance check on my FFH when it arrives. Please feel free to use any, all or none of it. Use it to create your own. The checkboxes were not copied over so I placed bullets in front of each item. This checklist takes about an 1 hour so to complete including the test ride. I bring my own tire pressure gauge. I also will take pictures of any sub-standard item. This way there is no question. For operational items I create detailed description on the error or problem, plus if I can recreate it. All this may sound a little over the top, but I've had problems in the past and I refuse to have it happen again. Problems arise when you let the emotion of having the vehicle delivered override the need to make sure everything is as it should be. murphy Report post Posted June 11, 2013 The 12 volt battery is in the left side of the trunk behind an access door. Turn each knob 1/4 turn counterclockwise and the door should fall open by itself.
Sleddog Report post Posted June 11, 2013 Yes I know. It's on the list, because it is something I always check. The way I do my checks, it's part of the engine bay stuff.

stlouisgeorge Report post Posted December 24, 2016 (edited) I am planning on taking delivery of a new 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid Platinum in the coming days. Here is a related question.. I am looking for a "swipe" list. Example: Lets assume the prep was completed 100% on my car (White Fusion Hybrid) I am taking delivery on today. What physical items could the a sales ding dong have swiped from my White Fusion car in order to complete a sale on another, say Black Fusion, a month ago?For example: Imagine a customer (not me -- this was a month ago!) notes the passenger side floor mat is gone from their new Black Fusion and demands it be replaced before they will sign! The desperate salesman grabs a (single) floor mat from ANOTHER new Fusion (the White one I will be buying a month later!) and sneaks it over into the awaiting customers Black Fusion. "We found it under the Coke machine! Yippee! Problem solved.". (Now there's another, lonely, White Fusion Hybrid missing a floor mat out on the lot I will come in and buy a month later). This is a list even grandma could check.. NEW FUSION HYBRID SWIPE LIST:Floor matsTire stem coversManuals in glove boxTwo key fobs? Thanks! murphy Report post Posted December 24, 2016 Air compressor / "goo" injector in the trunk. (It doesn't have a spare tire). 1 jeff_h reacted to this
