Ric Report post Posted November 7, 2012 I installed mud flaps on my vehicles in the past. Living with Wisconsin winters, salt and sand spread on the roads is a pain.
Scott029 Report post Posted November 7, 2012 I am definately putting at least front ones on my car.
Fastronaut Report post Posted November 8, 2012 I bought them for my new Fusion Hybrid SE which came in damaged recently. Since I already had the mud flaps, I reordered it as a Titanium Hybrid :drop: After all, what could I do with just mud flaps? 1 jeff_h reacted to this
terryb Report post Posted November 10, 2012 I tried to enter flaps into the configurator and the front and rear were exclusive i.e. they cancelled the other. Impossible to configure both. I'm planning on aftermarket. TerryB

I'm planning on aftermarket. TerryBI bought them from Ford through their parts department at the Dealer - most will discount if you are a customer. I gave them to the Salesman and told him to have them on the car when I pick it up.
Ric Report post Posted November 21, 2012 We had the OEM molded mud flaps installed today. They fit very well. Took the dealer about an hour to install them.

steveo358 Report post Posted April 22, 2013 Any noticeable change in MPG due to air flow?I installed mine yesterday on my hybrid titanium. We took a trip today to charlotte, about 2 hrs away. We averaged around 40 the whole time. We have 700 miles on the car now, so I cant tell you for sure if theres a difference. Seems about the same as before, but they fit nicely, and are easy to install. Ebay has a ford dealership on there selling them for 89.00 a set shipped. that's where I got mine. 1 Fastronaut reacted to this
neod192 Report post Posted April 24, 2013 So what's the cheapest price for the molded mud flaps? I found them for $39.99 + tax for each set (front & rear) at my dealer. The total would be $85. Who can beat that (don't forget about shipping)? Hmm, they're $39.49 at a dealer 50 min away - $0.50 isn't worth the drive :)
acdii Report post Posted April 24, 2013 Get em. The lowest price I have seen is usually partscheap.com and they are asking $40 each for them.

Installed a couple weeks ago, and it's well worth the money. Can't even tell they're there and they keep a lot of stuff from flying up from my tires. neod192 Report post Posted May 1, 2013 So my front guards came in and I just installed them. I like the look, but I wonder if I really need the rear ones too... Thoughts?
CombsAuthor Report post Posted May 1, 2013 Just my opinion, but I think that the front and rear make it look complete. 2 steveo358 and Fastronaut reacted to this

Fastronaut Report post Posted May 2, 2013 Here you go: They will definitely keep the road crap from flying up and sandblasting the paint.
neod192 Report post Posted May 3, 2013 Rear splash guards came in and they have been installed :) The installation was a bit tricky because the wheel doesn't turn ... The rear ones definitely complete the look :shift: 1 hybridbear reacted to this

neod192 Report post Posted May 4, 2013 Nice pictures, thanks for posting them. You got me thinking now - which is hard to do. I really think it'll protect the paint on the lower end of the doors and under the car as well as the rear bumper from all that crap on the roads. I'll have to see how less dirty it gets next time I was it.
Harbor Report post Posted May 4, 2013 Are they hard to install? Do they require a dealer to do so? Thanks!
