!!! Report post Posted November 28, 2010 Bought a used 2010 Milan. The Synch prompts but then does not "hear" commands? I checked the manual and it didn't say anything about a mute, but it acts like the mic is turned off. Off to the dealership, or is there a way to check the mic? xmech2k Report post Posted November 28, 2010 Sorry I don't know all the details, but I'll try to help. On the 2010 Fusion, the mic is on the front side (as in, the front of the car, away from the driver, go figure) of the rearview mirror. Maybe check the wiring to the mirror or see if it's been replaced or something. I've heard of an update or something that moves the mic over the driver in the headliner somewhere. Don't know if it became standard in later build versions. Well, somewhere to start.... Good luck.
