Picking up new FFH Tomorrow!

Recommended Posts

Made the final arrangements today, did the numbers "game" with the dealer and think we got a pretty good deal on the car. A White FFH with moon & tune. Really excited to go pick it up tomorrow! Got a great deal on the trade in as well. Looking forward to some good Hybrid miles!

It's an exciting car. I have the most fun with mine since Drive-In movie days (just after horse-and-buggy days). Read all the manuals notably the Owners Guide and Hybrid pamphlet.

The car is great. I love it so far! I am really impressed with the fit and finish, how smooth she rides and how quite it all is. I really am impressed with the tech and quality. She has a lot of power and "git-up" so that was great. Amazing for such a small engine IMHO.

No gripes at all, but I was surprised to see how little the car enters EV mode. I thought it would be more, but maybe it's helping all the time more than I am realizing. I have read the manual and have changed the driver info screens a lot. I prefer the efficiency graphs more than the leaves. My inital MPG was lower than expected, but it was almost all hwy miles. Do you have to drive like a Granny for get high-30s MPG?

I traded in a 99 Pontiac with 97k+ miles. She was well cared for and I got the trade in for Blue Book value. They sold me the FFH for invoice...so it was a good deal.

Love the car...pics to follow (if it lets me resize them).

man, that white one is so nice !!, i wanted that colour lol oh well.

after you drive a few thousand miles, your mpg will improve.

i always use the empower mode, it helps you to control and monitor the battery engine better

if you want to engage the battery driving mode, let go of your gas for a half a second under 74 km/h (46 mph), and you can see how much you have to step on the pedal to stay in that green zone

yeah, it will get distracting at 1st, looking at your display gauge, cause you'll get obsessed on how well you want to efficiently drive, but keep your eyes on the road lol, in time, you will look less and gradually get the hang of and getting used to a driving style you'll develop

ive been getting 45 mpg consistently now for the past 2 months.

Congrats! Is this a 2010 or a new 2011? If you don't mind my asking, how much did you pay for it with the 502A option? You can send me an e-mail, if you care to answer off-board. Thanks!!!

NICE! We should start our own website...Fusions and Vettes!! :hysterical: Love the Blue.

This Fusion is my first Ford ever, in a mostly Chevy stable by entire life. I love it so far, but it still feels kinda 'different.' Hope the Vette doesn't get jealous.

We would prob be the only two members LOL Most Ford guys own Mustangs and most Corvette guys own Chevy Trucks.

This is my first Ford car but I have owned a F250 and F350 before. I've owned cars from all different MFG including Chrysler ACK!

Well, no OUCH. Not sure I should admit it on this forum but, I replaced the Corvette with a 2010 Ford F250 Super Duty Crew Cab long bed with a diesel engine. It will soon be joined by a 5th wheel travel trailer.
