Recommended Posts

well i want to put a indash nav/dvd player in my 2010 fusion se (no sync), and i have done plenty of older cars up to 2002. i just dont know if i want to tackle this one myself or bring it in, so if anyone has done a aftermarket stereo in the 2010 fusion let me know how it went

Considering you have just the basic se package 6 speakers and no amps it about as easy as it gets. You will need to get a dash kit, crab and harness and then its just like pre 2002 installs. If you want to keep the steering wheel control you will need a unit for that as well.

You can check crutchfield and ebay to see all the different things available.

Getting to the radio is a real B***H. Had to take the whole gray piece with the cup holders out + the piece were the AC plug is + pop the top middle console. I ended up breaking the tension that makes that piece pop up. I have to open it manually now. Not a big deal considering you cant fit to much i there anyways. I keep all of my stuff in the armrest compartment. This one is worth the money to get someone to install it. I know from experience lol...good luck.
