Inside Roof Cleaning

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure what the material for the inside roof of the 2010 Fusions are it seems like a cloth type material. There are a few smudges on mine, anyone recommend something to clean it?

i dont know the material either, but my advise is take it to a pro... headliners are PITA!!!! if you use the wrong chem, the adhesive will detach, then yuo will have saggy overhead

Try a "Shout" wipe. You won't over saturate the spot using a pre-moistened wipe and Shout works pretty well.

Should be perfect for headliners.

Hi Howie,

Last Monday I picked my car up from the dealer after getting an oil change and I noticed their mechanic must have left a few smudge marks on the headliner of the car. (I have the tan colored headliner in mine). I used one of my Maguires Dash Wipes to lightly buff out the grease marks in a circular motion. Once the grease was gone I finished the area off with a dry microfiber cloth to remove all the excess moisture. The marks are now completely gone with no fading at all.

Hope that helps!

Good to hear. That's basically the same product I used on mine. Those are great for cleaning coffee spills off of the seats too :banghead:
