jfouche Report post Posted April 23, 2010 would like some recommendations, please. We are thinking of replacing the headrests with DVD headrests ( when the car is delivered)
Rimfaxe Report post Posted April 25, 2010 I'm also interested. Here's the best that I have so far: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_435ESS71RT/ESS-Headrest-Video-Package-Tan.html?o=n&tp=80 it does not include the DVD player, but it might hook up to one of these: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_158FX930/Sony-DVP-FX930-Black.html?search=DVPFX810&ssi=0&tp=246 Any thoughts appreciated. danager Report post Posted April 25, 2010 I have installed car audio and electronics for a little more than a decade. I had just started in the industry when mobile video started to take off. The concern I have with these headrests, is the safety factor. The adjustable hollow posts are concerning. There is a significant amount of engineering in an automotive seat now, ergonomics and collision performance are balanced with appearance. That being said, I have done some pretty ridiculous things to a car before, I am just very conservative in my own. I would recommend looking at something from Myron & Davis. They offer a line of great products. Dan

jfouche Report post Posted April 27, 2010 Don't know why I didn't think of that before. :) However, I thought of something else. There is a car audio place in town that will put them in the original headrests for much cheaper.
