mmcd84 Report post Posted February 2, 2010 I did a google search and couldn't get a definitive answer. Seems if you tap off the fuse block in can cause feedback in your amp? Anyone have any luck using their factory head unit with an aftermarket amp for subs? What did you hook the turn on wire up to?

Anyone have any luck using their factory head unit with an aftermarket amp for subs? What did you hook the turn on wire up to? theres a box at walmart.. a speaker and cut the - and +, they go into the box and on the other side of this box you run wires out to hook back to the speaker so you dont loose the sound.. it has out lets for 2 sets of rca wires... you guys should know how to hook up amp and subs... before you put the rdio back in and hide wires make sure it works.. and tape the speaker wires you cut that go into the box and out cuz the little screws dont hold the best.. and for the remote wire i ran a switch.. have 1 wire touching the remote on amp and the other end to the +(positive) on amp. wire a switch in the middle.. i had to do this because the 2 L7 12's and 1 L7 15 was loud as hell and cops loved me lol
