I was wondering if it would be better to replace the low beam bulb or the high beam. I dont want to over power my high beams but i dont want to replace both of them. and if the bulb in this like is a good bulb to use.

Hi bmorris. :D Whether it is a good bulb to use depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

If you are looking for a good bulb to provide light so that you can see better at night, then that bulb is horrible. Blue bulbs do nothing to increase the amount of light for night vision. In fact, the blue light spectrum actually decreases available light for night vision. And while it is decreasing your night vision, the blue color also increases glare for oncoming drivers. The blue coating on the bulbs also decreases light, because the coating blocks light (like putting on a pair of blue sunglasses would).

So you will decrease the available light for you to be able to see at night, and you will be creating a hazard by increasing glare for oncoming drivers.

And if all that was not enough, the lifespan of those bulbs is also quite a bit shorter than the correct bulbs for our application.

In fact, if you notice, the advertisement says nothing about being able to see better at night or the lifespan of the bulb. It merely talks about a blue color.

Whether seeing worse at night, blinding other drivers and having to replace bulbs more often is worth it for a blue color headlight is completely up to you. And just so you understand, I am not trying to be a wiseguy, just providing the facts to help you.

Whatever you decide to do, good luck. :beerchug:
