bbf2530 Report post Posted June 21, 2009 If the spare is low will that trigger the TPMS light or not ? (2010 Fusion) Hi rfruth. :D No. The spare tire does not have a TPMS sensor. Good luck. :beerchug:
rlawson4 Report post Posted June 21, 2009 Is there a way to check tire pressure before there is a warning. On my acura, I could see tire pressure when I wanted. I have not found that on my FFH. Thanks to any response.
akirby Report post Posted June 21, 2009 Is there a way to check tire pressure before there is a warning. Of course - get a tire pressure gauge and check them once or twice a month. Seriously - you shouldn't rely on the sensors alone - a gauge is much more precise.

I will pick up a tire gauge at Ace Hardware this afternoon.
rfruth Report post Posted June 22, 2009 thank you all, for my last TPMS question (now) I currently put a few more PSI in my Civic's tires (calls for 32 I use 35) - would this strategy be okay in a FFH (assuming even wear, not too harsh a ride etc.) ? (extra PSI great for me, more MPG, I can adjust the pressure anywhere, the tires loose some anyway so if I start at 35 ...)
