Wow. MSRP. Such a deal.

Do you know there is a recession/depression going on?

The FFH is a great car (I should know, I have one) but MSRP is a bit steep.

Frankieboy,

I respect your opinion and I would be willing to work on price with anyone wanting to order one. I feel this is a fair price for someone who wants their car right away and not chance price increases or not getting one this model year. We are a smaller dealer and may not get another one in stock that we can let guests test drive. I am more than impressed with the FFH and think Ford hit a homerun with this car. Congrats on your purchase, enjoy the car!

Pay to play. At this point in the life of the FFH, MSRP is as fair as it gets. This car is NOT for everyone. Big discounts and financing deals are for the run of the mill cars. $30k puts it out of reach for the masses and I applaud Ford for protecting the price point of their premium product. That is good business.

Well I'm paying MSRP. All the dealers I visited are planning on marking the car up. The distribution up north here is pretty weak I believe, in comparison the West/East Coast, and probably has something to do with the lack of wheeling and dealing around here. When you have 1 of something that 10 people want why would you sell it for under MSRP?

Thanks to all who expressed interest. The vehicle is sold! We do have another due in shortly. I will post details when the car arrives. Thank you again!

I have to agree. The pricing is very much determined by how hard something is to get. The mid-west is only receiving a small fraction of the dealer slated inventory. My search went out in a nearly 100 mile radius for a car in stock. I did get slightly under MSRP, but not a ton. If I would have been willing to drive it back from the west coast I could have gotten a much better deal. The same goes for the incentives, Ford is offering several incentives on the non-hybrid versions of the car but here only 0% financing is available on the FFH.

If you want a Prius there are about 75 in stock at the local Toyota dealer, most at invoice.

Really, 0% financing on the FFH? Where is here? We don't have that offer here in the Seattle / Tacoma area of Washington state.

here in Houston, Tx it's pretty much MSRP - they say invoice + 500. but when you add it up its near MSRP (a local dealer will throw in tint and some washes/details but thats it - you want the latest & greatest you pay the price, wait till 2011 & the 2010's will be on 'sale') corse the 2012's will be right around the corner ....

A dealer in Atlanta wanted 5K above sticker. It was listed as a market adjustment. I ordered one on an X Plan from a different dealer on April 20th.

Whatever you "add up" to get to MSRP would also be added on top of the MSRP price. Invoice + $500 is a good price and nowhere near MSRP.
