mcannon91 Report post Posted August 26 I just bought a 2019 fusion hybrid. Se with 30000 miles and I'm having this weird subtle vibration. It seems like only when it shifts drive from Gas to Electric. Sometimes when I coast, I can't find anything about it. Except for on the Lincoln MKZ forum And the man battled with this issue. Same issue for a long time and multiple other people did too dealership, saying it was just Tires etcetera, and finally changed a couple coil packs and said it solved. The issue has anyone on here had the same issue with their fusions? aschulz261 Report post Posted September 1 Mine has done it from day 1. It's like the engine takes awhile to turn off. I have always thought that under certain circumstances the ECU is "confused" as to which map it should be using. It doesn't do it every time and I have never figured out a specific of circumstances that will make it do it.
2014FordFusionSE Report post Posted September 1 I haven't experienced it but from what I think it is, it's your gas engine shuddering when switching off. You should be able to repro it by switching the ignition off when your car is in gas mode. I've seen it happen to gas engines before.
