My 2018 hybrid is my daily commuter.  Love it and it’s fuel economy… 3 weeks ago 💥 

 

finally got approved for long block replacement from car max “max care” 

bought vehicle in 2021 w 59k motor failed 3 weeks ago at 135k 

 

anyone seen a failure this bad 😩

Connecting rod failure? I've never seen one happen on a Fusion Hybrid.  Very fortunate to have that warranty.

Absolutely… they have been dragging their feet but new motor is in transit 🙏
