hal9000 Report post Posted November 12, 2022 I was disappointed to see that there appears to be no traditional engine gauge (ie temp, rpm, oil pressure etc).... Aside from physically adding a gauge pod, is there any way to activate or add gauges on the OE screens? This is an ex fleet SE model so minimally equipped and all the right dash screen has is the compass.... Thanks.
2014FordFusionSE Report post Posted November 13, 2022 Which year is it? The right dash screen can be changed on the 2014 to phone, nav, AC control, etc. using the buttons on the steering wheel. The left screen can also be changed to include a digital temp gauge.
hal9000 Report post Posted November 13, 2022 It's a '14 but not highly optioned. Unless I've missed something big, all I have access to on the right screen is efficiency leaves and the compass.
Cobra348 Report post Posted November 14, 2022 In the '15+ models - maybe yours too - one of the small screens in the dash has a MyView screen. It's in 2 parts and each can be configured independent of the other. Might wanna see if that works for you. Mine displays temp ... and I forget what else. <shrug> Grab the owners manual and spend time learning all the buttons and what they do. It took me over an hour on my '15. Best damn time I spent ... learned a lot. Also the small screens seem to have short "Help" explanations of what they do.
MeeLee Report post Posted December 30, 2022 2019, left screen can be set to temp gauge, rpm gauge (you don't really need it, becasue the engine usually hovers between 1280 and 2100 rpm, and rarely goes beyond that, unless you want to accelerate less economically). Rpm, temp and battery gauge is not something you'll need often, because they are nearly always constant. If you want more gauges, buy an obd2 Bluetooth port, plug it in, and download 'torque lite' on your phone. You will have about 25 more working gauges for only $11 for the bt plug on Amazon. Including engine load, boost/vacuum, etc...
