Bballwolf43 Report post Posted October 27, 2021 My car has 235/45-18 tires from the factory. I was wondering if a set of 245/40-18 tires still work without causing any problems. I found a set of snow tires for sale on Facebook.
Mike_G Report post Posted November 18, 2021 I certainly hope so because I just ordered a set of 4 Yokohama Advan A/S in that size.

Mine is the 2019 Hybrid SE, and it comes standard with 225/50R17, but easily fits 235/55R17, which is roughly a 1 inch taller sidewall. Thinner tires usually fit fine. Use tire calculator to calculate the difference, and measure it in the wheel well. The tire width can't differ too much from the stock tires, if you don't want it to hit the suspension. But you can always buy cheap 5 to 10mm spacer rings if it does.

I recently installed them on my vehicle now and have no issues.
