Superbeast65 Report post Posted November 8, 2019 (edited) Hello, So i am having no luck in finding anybody else with this problem and i don't want to just start throwing expensive parts at it. 2018 Ford Fusion HybridAPPROX: 41,000 miles Problems are as follows:ABS light (non-op)Traction control light (non-op)The Electronic assist part of the power steering (as in i still have power steering, it is not 100% out, but you can't "one finger" the steering wheel. If that makes sense)Hill start assist (non-opParking aid (non-op)Predicted path in the back up camera (non-op)Cruse control (non-op) (most annoying part)All of these things will all go out at once. This started off as an intermittent problem that seemed to only happen if i went through a puddle or if it was raining. With the cold weather, (Currently 20F degrees in Wisconsin) all these problems have been for the past week. The first thing that came to my mind is a bad Wheel speed sensor. I have replaced both front sensors 11/7, but it didn't fix anything. They are not that expense and figured it would be worth a shot. Worst part is i'm supposed to drive to California on 11/19. This will make for an unhappy leg with no cruse. Soonest i can get it into a dealer around me is December. Not sure where to go form here. Anybody ever seen anything like this? Could the ABS module be crapping out on me? Thank you. P.S. Didn't mean to post in 'Welcome'. Don't think i can move it now.... sorry Edited November 8, 2019 by Superbeast65

lolder Report post Posted November 8, 2019 These are major failures the dealer should fix immediately under warranty. Go make another effort and make a "scene" if necessary. 1 mwr reacted to this
Waldo Report post Posted November 13, 2019 (edited) The nice thing about these electronic cars is that they will tell you exactly what's wrong. Pull the codes and replace what it tells you isn't working. I certainly would have guessed wheel speed sensor as well, but it could also be something in the steering gear itself, or a steering wheel angle sensor. Superbeast65 Report post Posted November 14, 2019 Yes there are codes for all of these problems, unfortunately they only information that i get from the codes is that there is a fault. Now i'm not using the Ford program, just a code scanner. Like i said, i have to drive to California on the 19th and wont be back until Thanksgiving. I do plan on getting it to a dealer, just sucks that any of the dealers by me are always booked a minimum of a month out so i'm probably not going to get it in until January February time. Once i do take it in i will post what the problem was in case it happens to anybody else. This is the first car i have drove with traction control and working ABS so i'm used to driving without it, just more annoying then anything else to start your car in the morning and its dinging at your and spitting out errors. Then you have to stare at the damn amber idiot lights while your driving. I miss my cruse control the most. :(
