stlouisgeorge Report post Posted April 8, 2018 I just replaced my 2017 Ford Fusion MyKey Fob battery. On page 50 of the manual ("Onwers Manual 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid") it states: The remote control uses one coin-type three-volt lithium battery CR2032 or equivalent. This is not correct. You need a CR2450. The CR2032 is much smaller. I've got it open in my hands now.
Waldo Report post Posted April 9, 2018 (edited) I've used both. They both work. Mine came with 2032 from the factory. Actually never mind that, I just realized your 2017 must have the new style Ford keyfob. Indeed that one does use the 2450 which is much bigger in diameter. My 2014 came with 2025 and I replaced them with 2032, that's why I was thinking of the two different sizes working. Guess Ford didn't update the manual when they updated the fob. ethermion Report post Posted April 9, 2018 Yup. 2032 in my 2013 and my 2010. A 2450 will be a little wider and a little taller. But, if it fits in there you are good no matter what. They are all 3V, and all will last for many years.
