kbailey990 Report post Posted May 6, 2017 Yes it's normal for the HVB to support hills if the computer thinks that will result in the most efficient increase in power. However, if you accelerate just a little slower, or let up a little on the uphill, the ICE can handle the hill and still be charging the HVB.
