I know that A6 & A7 are out and that A8 is either out or due out very soon. Does anyone know of anywhere that posts what areas of the country changed in the maps for any given release of maps? The $150 charge by a Ford dealer to put a new SD card in the center console is a little short of ridiculous when it seems that Ebay has them for $50. hermans Report post Posted September 6, 2016 In the areas I drive in the new road changes have not showed up.....period. I have compared the A4 and A7 maps no difference....period. I also have a 2016 Edge with Sync 3....still no changes. I even submitted changes from when I bought my 2013s. I would save my money and buy, if you feel the need to, from ebay. Thanks, KWe had the bad judgment to purchase an in-built NAV in our Explorer, and based on that experience, I went out of my way to avoid it in the FFH. Ford isn't particularly outrageous in their pricing for updates, particularly relative to the Europeans makes. However, high prices and out-of-date maps with 'updated' versions are par for the course. Google maps (on most Android phones) are a far superior navigation option in terms of map accuracy and cost. The screen replication technology makes using them much easier - too bad the sync 2 doesn't have it and won't be getting it. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
