mwr Report post Posted September 2, 2016 (edited) Yesterday I was driving in San Francisco and I turned onto one of of the steeper hills, from a stop, to start going up it. It's the kind of street where parking is on one side only and at a right angle to the street. I didn't think much about it, but as I accelerated up the hill I noticed how effortless it was and with not much sound involved. The low-speed torque of the electric motor plus the ICE made it seem like there was some sort of monster-large engine under the hood, with no sense of straining at all.
