Plug laptp into 2015 Fusion Hybrid

Recommended Posts

I'm going on a long trip and want to watch videos in the car. Can anyone tell me the easiest way to plug my HP Laptop into my 2013 Ford Fusion so I can watch videos (I'm thinking DVD's are best) but I need a power source for the laptop!

Thank You!

Debbie

If you have MFT there is a 120V outlet on the back of the center console. You can use RCA cables to display video from your laptop on the MFT screen when the car is in Park only.

If your car doesn't have the three-prong AC outlet that hybridbear described, then you can still buy a "cigarette lighter adapter" that will work in any car (you plug your laptop into the adapter and then plug that into the 12V).

E.g. http://www.amazon.com/BESTEK%C2%AE-Inverter-inverter-Rotatable-Cigarette/dp/B003Q54V88/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1433787852&sr=1-3&keywords=12v+charger+laptop

My dad has one of those and it works really well.
