There is an older thread about this but it doesn't address my question. Because of the lack of a real spare tire in the new 2013 FFH, I went to my local tire shop and ordered a rim and tire for $100. Then I picked up a jack and lug wrench from Walmart for about $30. All of this fits nicely on top of the battery pack. While I lose even more of the already limited trunk space, I don't mind since my fusion is primarily a commuter car and I would MUCH rather have a real spare than rely on fix-a-flat technology especially since I regularily drive rural out of cell coverage roads to get to work. My final question on this topic is: Where do you jack up the car? I can't find anything about this in the manual. Short of calling Ford Service or my tire shop.
