Hello, We recently got a new to us 2017 FFH and we love the car but we have experienced some odd behaviors lately. 1st. Over the last 2 weeks we have had a wrench icon randomly appear on the left screen. It does not appear to affect the drivability of the car but it has caused some other strange things. Usually when we turn the car on by the dash button I will see the icon light up, when that happens I notice the ac is off, instrument cluster and 8 inch screen brightness reverts to factory brightness. If I turn the car off and then back on the wrench icon goes away. I'm not sure how it gets replicated to cause the wrench to come on but I'm not sure if I should take the car to the dealer or not as its still under warranty but I have no way to recreate the issue. I have taken photos of when it has happened as proof. 2nd. I have seen and read other older threads about this but our fuel gauge & distance to empty appear to be way off. I read that the DTE goes based on your previous 500 miles worth of driving info and we are 1000 miles in but its still off. As an example, When I filled up a week ago, fuel gauge showed FULL and DTE showed about 320 miles to empty. We drove almost 480 miles and the DTE was 39 miles. When the empty light with 50 miles to E popped on, I drove an additional 50 miles and the DTE only went down to 39 miles to E. when I filled up yesterday for our current tank, again we drove 480 miles with an DTE of 25 and with the full tank DTE is now 315 miles. I figured it would of been closer to 500? Am I missing something here? I am used to the DTE being off by 5 or 10% but not 35-40% considering the same driving conditions, same weather in Sunny Houston Texas.... If anyone has any additional info I would appreciate it. Hi all. Recently had my 2010 FFH throw out the yellow wrench light on my dash. Happened the first time when I went to accelerate around a slow moving car. Drove with light on and everything seemed preety good. Turned car off and light went away. Recently went on a road trip and was on the highway and was accelerating up a hill and it came on again. Again went away but would come back when accelerating up hills. Is this the throttle body problem that it is known and FORD issued the extended warranty thing for? If not what other culprits may it be? My car just went over 50k I had the wheel bearing issue when I first bought it used with 29k on it but since then has been great until this light popping up. Thanks.

2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid, 29500 Mi approx Just this month had the two wrenches light up, throttle body issues and or gas cap (according to Book) cleared ran for 3 weeks no other problem till 9Mar13 today. (rainy) In Texas on I-130 going north from San Antoino 80mph posted speed, lights came on, with the two wrenches, then the red triangle came on, car bucked an died a quick death, Glad my wife and I are not dead from the rearend being hit by a truck going 80+ when the car slowed to a stop quickly. Very dangerous, noted the up and down arrow flashed, on the hybrid battery, hybrid battery gage went down quickly, fliped on the drawing of the power flow, it was indicating flow to trans from electric engine and gas engine when running down the road at 65mph.. Finaly got home alive, called Ford Service here in town, and delivered to them Light came on on way to dealer, and was on when I left the car with them, the gentlemen in the service bay drop off was not interested in seeing the trouble indicators. . Also had car run a Vehicle Health Report and e-mail me the results; Noted Urgent Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power; "some information could not be sent from your sync, due to current conditions and data volume... Will update when corrected.. Looks like a lot of people are having simular problems, anyone else having the same problems with a trouble code listed.. ??
