Hello guys! Recently i had an accident in the frontal area of my car (Fusion hybrid 2017). I changed all my radiator but i´ve been having problems finding the shutters. The quotation here in Mexico was very very high for that specific part because its electric and needs to be ordered from the fabric. Anyone knows if that part its unique of this model? Or any idea in how to fix this in a cheaper way? Obviously safety first but the quotation its ridiculous from my perspective. Thanks!

Fusion Hybrid and Fusion Energi are technology-packed electrified vehicles that offer an advanced EcoGuide system to provide drivers real-time coaching to get even better fuel economy. Fusion Energi features a 7.6-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery for an expected range of 19 miles using electric power only. The car automatically switches to an efficient 2.0-liter gasoline engine when the battery is depleted, allowing customers to drive more than 500 miles. Ford continues to innovate and evolve with its lithium-ion batteries that save weight and take up less space than the less sophisticated nickel-metal hydride batteries found in Toyota Camry Hybrid. Neither Camry nor Accord offers a plug-in hybrid. Recharging Fusion Energi can be done overnight in just 2.5 hours. The car is smart enough to know when to begin charging to get electricity at the lowest price. It can even preheat or precool the cabin before drivers leave to save more fuel. Both electrified Fusions deliver impressive overall performance with electric-only speeds up to 85 mph. Regenerative braking captures up to 95 percent of the energy lost through heat during braking and recharges the hybrid battery on the move. Meaningful technology Fusion is the most technologically advanced midsize car Ford has ever built in North America – the first car sold here with Ford’s pedestrian detection system. Fusion also has hands-free parallel and perpendicular parking capability. The new high-tech gear shift dial results in a roomier cabin with easy-to-reach bins. Lane-keeping assist helps drivers maintain proper lane position using a small, forward-facing camera behind the rearview mirror that “looks” at the road ahead – monitoring lane lines to ensure the car is on course. Available Blind Spot Information System with cross-traffic alert includes sensors in the car’s rear quarter-panels that can detect traffic in a driver’s blind spot, providing both audible and visual warnings if traffic – unseen by the driver – is detected. BLIS® enables cross-traffic alert, warning the driver of oncoming traffic when backing out of a parking space with obstructed views. In combination with the standard rearview camera, BLIS makes for confident maneuvering in parking lots. SYNC® 3, Ford’s new communications and entertainment system, is also available. It features faster performance, more conversational voice recognition, a more intuitive smartphone-like touch screen and easier-to-understand graphical interface. SYNC Connect, optional with SYNC 3, enables owners to remotely start their car, schedule future starts, or lock and unlock the car using their smartphone. The new Fusion arrives at dealerships this summer. Fusion V6 Sport follows a few weeks later.

Hello, We recently got a new to us 2017 FFH and we love the car but we have experienced some odd behaviors lately. 1st. Over the last 2 weeks we have had a wrench icon randomly appear on the left screen. It does not appear to affect the drivability of the car but it has caused some other strange things. Usually when we turn the car on by the dash button I will see the icon light up, when that happens I notice the ac is off, instrument cluster and 8 inch screen brightness reverts to factory brightness. If I turn the car off and then back on the wrench icon goes away. I'm not sure how it gets replicated to cause the wrench to come on but I'm not sure if I should take the car to the dealer or not as its still under warranty but I have no way to recreate the issue. I have taken photos of when it has happened as proof. 2nd. I have seen and read other older threads about this but our fuel gauge & distance to empty appear to be way off. I read that the DTE goes based on your previous 500 miles worth of driving info and we are 1000 miles in but its still off. As an example, When I filled up a week ago, fuel gauge showed FULL and DTE showed about 320 miles to empty. We drove almost 480 miles and the DTE was 39 miles. When the empty light with 50 miles to E popped on, I drove an additional 50 miles and the DTE only went down to 39 miles to E. when I filled up yesterday for our current tank, again we drove 480 miles with an DTE of 25 and with the full tank DTE is now 315 miles. I figured it would of been closer to 500? Am I missing something here? I am used to the DTE being off by 5 or 10% but not 35-40% considering the same driving conditions, same weather in Sunny Houston Texas.... If anyone has any additional info I would appreciate it. Thanks

The LED fog lights that came with our FFH are great but I think they may be aimed a tab bit too low. The cutoff line appears to be 10-15 feet in front of the bumper. I'd like to adjust them to have the cut off go further, maybe 25-35 feet in front to better cover the area that the headlights don't illuminate. has anyone adjusted the LED fogs and is it as simple as an adjustment screw? Thanks.

I note there are numerous topics on 12v battery problems with older FFHs. Rather than add onto one of those, I'm starting a new one because I'm experiencing similar problems on a 2017 FFH that we've had for 6 weeks and <1,200 miles. The 12v battery has died on us twice. First time after the car sat for 48 hours. We took it to the dealer who said that it was a bad 12v battery and replaced it. Now, about four weeks later, the new battery was dead, this time after the car sat for 24 hours. When I tried to start it, a clicking noise began in the fuse box and the red light on the gear selector knob blinked, but the dashboard did not light up, the car did not start and the clicking continued without stop until I jumped started the car. After jump starting, it ran fine, but the audio system is inoperative and the navigation system shows no GPS connection. It's Sunday evening, so I will take it back to the dealership first thing tomorrow AM. Has anyone had similar experience with a new 2017? It seems HIGHLY improbable that we would get two bad 12v batteries in a row. What might be draining the battery after the car is shut off?

Has anyone with a 2017 been able to find a secure safe that is made to fit in the cabin? I have tried the tuffy universal underseat safe (which is great quality) but does not fit. They say it should fit the 2017, but probably just the base model, I have heated, power memory seats and there is too much under there to accommodate. I also tried the console vault for the 2013-2016 Fusion, which is too small since the 2017 has a longer console. I'm hoping something comes out soon, but figured I'd check here if anyone has had similar problems. Thanks.
