  1. where does the re-q mount or stay? do you wire it all the way back to your trunk?
  2. thanks for the reply. yeah, sounds like a decent amount of work, but it should be worth it if I have the car for 3 years right? :unsure: is that the only reason you wouldn't recommend it? or is it the risk of breaking something? I already have the sub and wiring kit...so it's just a matter of investing time and knowing I can do it right. I was hoping there was a way to get to those wires other than pulling out the radio, but i guess it is what it is.
  3. I'm sorry if this has already been discussed, but I cant find it anywhere on here. I am leasing a 2011 fusion SE with Sync, and don't want to do anything too intrusive on the car, or screw it up trying to take apart the dash. I know how to wire an amp, but I am curious how I go about tapping into the speaker wires from the head unit. Do I have to remove trim on the dash and pull the factory stereo unit out? Or, is there a way to get to the wires somewhere else? I intend on using a line level to RCA converter. Thanks for any help!!
