Full Bolt-On Supercharger Kit For the 3.0L Fusion
The Great NY replied to The Great NY's topic in News & Reviews
damn, not sure why i wasnt getting notifications from this forum. so for the delayed response. the compression hasnt been lowered. and depending on boost it wont need to be. my motor is 10:1 compression and im running 12-15psi. for a regular person, 10psi is just fine. injectors have been replaced, and there are a couple injector size options. fuel pump doesnt need to be replaced as it flows plenty for the boost. only thing on the fuel system needing to be touched is the injectors. the stock manifolds can be run just fine with the stock exhaust. of course more power can be made with a better flowing system, but its not needed. iirc the test car has the stock header system. lol, no it doesnt come with a new transmission. the test car has been doing perfectly fine on the stock atx and axles and i dont see them being an issue on the atx. as for the trans. add a oil cooler and that will help keep the trans in one piece. -
Full Bolt-On Supercharger Kit For the 3.0L Fusion

There's a few things ur missing here bro. 1. The fusion isn't designed to be a straight line car 2. The fusion IIRC is a 3500lbs car 3. The fusion is only ATX 4. The base SC kit is about 3500 iirc....I have to look or talk to him again cause there have been many changes to the kit 5. In these videos the car wasn't fully tuned 6. In the videos the car was running something like 8psi(about 300-320bhp or so) 7. This motor (3.0L) is capable of 400bhp daily driven all day everyday Fyi - videos can truly be decieving because even my car doesn't seem that fast in videos but when people ride in it and race it the first thing they say is videos don't do it justice. These things may sound like a cop out, but you have to take into account what you a dealing with. A 3500lbs car with an ATX and 350hp isn't gonna be setting land speed record. But look at it this way for an extra 3500-5000 bucks.....u essentially make the fusion be able to hang with or own a car that was considered to be more high performance than it. For way less cost. For instance... A new 335I will cost you 40k or better....you paid 16k for your car...add 3.5k-5k to that and u destroy a 40+ thousand dollar car. Yea its still a bmw. But u see wat I'm getting at? You not getting this kit to go to the strip and break 11's or low 12's.....the fusion is FWD and ATX....so high 12's low 13's is great imo for a 3500lbs cas -
Please don't delete.......this is not spam. this is just a heads up for all you 3.0L guys In case you all may not know i just figured i'd fill you guys in on a power adder for your 3.0L. i browsed around the site and saw many posts asking about turbo kits and and supercharger kits. Dont think i saw any closure or any progress on the matter. With that being said a good friend of mine has just released a fully bolt-on supercharger kit for the 3.0L V6 Fusion. this SC kit is capable of 425-450bhp. there are many options availible for the setup as well. this kit is top notch and the price is outstanding. the base of the kit is an Eaton MP-90 supercharger. Oh, the company is "Nautilus Performance" out of Florida. Kit Includes: Magnuson MP90 4th Gen. 450 hp maximum output CNC Custom Aluminum Lower Intake Manifold 3" x 12" x 1.75" Aftercooler Installed (needs pump and heat exchanger kit) Custom Fuel Rail and Custom Fuel Injector Sleeves Pulley Plate with new sized belts Custom Plenum utilizing EGR, IAC, & vacuum distribution using OEM TB All bolts, clamps, & hardware included Many other options available! Anyway here is some pics and stuff: UNDER THE HOOD: Pics of hood the SC almost made the hood but we added some more scoop to allow for more air room and insulation. The customer will be finishing the hood in the rear etc to make it nice on the rear edge IMO. I really like the hood from the front you can't tell till you get to the side only because the rear lip drop straight down . I think a small slope to the rear would look very good on this car.
