  1. Thank you Have it on 12v trickle. Car seems okay again, but we'll know in a week or two. Thanx again.
  2. Hi Murphy, I see you answer many posts here, that tells me something, grin. I am aware of the hookup under the hood. So, what then, run the trickle charge on that location for say half a day? Disconnecting nothing? Not being mechanically inclined, may I ask what is or are the benefits of the AGM battery over what Ford has in there (DS7T-10655-E). I bought this car with about 15K miles on it from a rental agency, so that's like 30K miles at least as rental miles are known to be hard miles. Annnnnyway. Thank you kindly for your help. 3. Greetings Fusion/Mondeo fans. I love my 2017 blk on blk SE Hybrid. Never a problem with it ... until NOW. ? About a week or two ago, parked and locked car, all normal, forgot something and went back to it half hour later, it was DEAD as a doornail, paniced as I could not gain access to vehicle. AAA came out, attached power to it, all back to normal. Their tester stated no issues. It ran for a week or two and last night the same nonsence AGAIN. In the mean time I learned about the little hole under the driver door handle to open with blade key, barely worked, but got it. Also was made aware that vehicle has TWO batteries and most likely the rear or Aux battery is in need or charging or replacement. Everything newer costs more. I have other older vehicles and could find batteries for them at WM for $50, not this one brother, costs just a tad more. I have a nice Craftsman upright rolling charger that does trickle charge (2 amp), 20 amp or FAST Charge (immed start). Should I try charging before replacing? Charging in car hooked up or unhook and charge on werk bench? Watched a couple utube vids, not as simple as unhook pos n neg and take out, one piece has to be taken out and the other bent back out of the way. OEM part number ... do you think that's out there on the net easy to find? NOPE. Guess I could look on the battery or simply search 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid SE battery, naw, that would be too easy. I noticed a lot of great feedback here. Seems to be "The" place for Fusion/Mondeo owners. Looking forward to some helpful suggestions. Car is once again running like new "at the moment". Already bought one of those compact jump starters at Costco, didn't help. It was only 75% charged out of the box and after a few unsuccessful attempts it quickly went down to 50%, fully charged now, IF I have to use it again, hope I have better luck, only have one more jump on my AAA account, grin. Thank you in advance for any and all assistance. Mondeo 01.Aug.21 19:20 The O.C. in SoCal
