Hi I know I'm reviving a old thread but I have a related question. What is the purpose of the vent tube that plugs into the 12V? If you don't plug it in whats the consequence of that? I installed a new battery and after mounting it I realize I didn't plug in the vent tube. I tried finding a hole to plug in the vent tube but couldn't find any on my new battery. This is the new battery I installed here.
