I have a 2500w Power Acoustik Razor RZR1-2500D (650w RMS @ 2ohms) Mono Block Amplifier connected straight to the 12v battery with a SCOSCHE 500k MicroFarad Capacitor running 1 12” Pheonix Gold Ti312D4 Dual 4ohm Subwoofer (600w RMS). Have had the car for about 4 months and have had the system in the car for about 3 months now without a single issue. I had the Kicker 12” Sub (43CWR122) & Enclosure combo being pushed by a MTX Terminator TN250/1 Amp, upgraded to the Razor Amp and it blew through 3 Kicker Subs so bought the Pheonix Gold Sub put it in the kicker enclosure and it’s been bumpin ever since. My car car has the 4” Radio with SYNC no navigation no stock amplifier, I disconnected the 3 ANC mics just because but so not sure if the different systems get different results. I drive about 100 miles to work and back home everyday, about 70% of the trip is highway the other 30% is split between curvy hills back road country and city. My mpg goes from 34 - 37 which is kind of disappointing being what the car is advertised to do. I’ve had the car for about 2 months and have tried different grades of gas which doesn’t seem to change anything. I run my tire pressure at 40 psi. Any tips or insight into getting better gas mileage? 2017 FFH

I have a 2017 FFH and wondering if anyone is using LEDs or HIDs for the low beam protector? What brand, wattage, and how does it look? I’ve been doing research about the projector and from what I’ve read the HID bulbs don’t fair to well as far as light output from a pojector lense. Any feedback and input would be greatly appreciated.

Only issue I have at this point is how the bass seems to decrease/plateau after turning the system up to 15+. If anyone could shed some light on this issue please do.

2017 FFH 2500 Watt Power Acoustik Razor Amp 500k Scosche Micro Farad Capacitor 12” Kicker CompR Subwoofer Took a couple days of getting off work and messing with it here and there to get it completed and clean up the install. Only trouble I really had was locating an accessory turn on for the remote wire. I’m contemplating doing a 8” SYNC3 Touch Screen upgrade due to having only the 4” SYNC system, not quite sure if it is worth the hassle or the money (if anyone has accomplished said upgrade please message me). Will definitely be upgrading the capacitor and adding a 4 or 6 channel amp as well as upgrading the door speakers and adding 2 speakers to the rear deck (if I get the 6 channel amp). Let me know what you all think.

I see them now but can’t figure out how to disconnect them. My question is now, if I do disconnect these ANC mics will that solve the problem of the bass being reduced or maxed after turning the volume up to 15+?

Just passed 36,000 miles a week ago warrnaty is done.

Has anyone tried or know what it would involve to switch from the standard SYNC 4” System to the upgraded SYNC 3 8” System and adding the rear deck speakers?

69 views no responses? Update I pulled the plastic from the driver side A Pillar Frame and did not see a mic or anything that resembles a mic. Not sure if standard SYNC w/ 4” Screen vehicles have ANC can someone please provide some feedback on this. Thanks in advance.

My only issue is that when turning up the volume it sounds like the level of the sub is reduced the higher the volume. I have read many posts about the ANC but not sure if that is what is reducing the level of the sub. Wanted to check and verify if that is what the ANC is affecting, I do not have a buzzing or feedback that some of these posts mention from the ANC. Any help/feedback would be greatly appreciated. This is my first FF and my first Hybrid vehicle so it is all new to me. my install went like this. FL+ = White FL- = White/Brown Stripe FR + = White/Violet Stripe FR- = White/Orange Stripe Remote Turn On = Brown/Yellow Stripe P.S. I am loving this vehicle and the gas mileage

Hello everyone, just traded in my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 6” Lift and 35” mud tires for a 2017 FFH SE about a week ago. So far I’m loving this car. The comfortability, the ride quality, and especially the gas mileage over my truck (10-13 mpg). The FFH I got only has the basic SYNC 4” radio, I’m really eager to put in a system I have a 500 watt MTX Terminator Mono Amp and a Kicker 12” Comp sub in a potted box bought from Best Buy. I have been researching day and night on how to install a LOC in this FFH, purchased one and attempted to find speaker wires to tap into but could not accomplish this. The stereo system is also the basic with no speakers in the rear deck. Although I did pull apart the trunk and behind the vertical carpet on the right side I did find a non used plug just sitting there and thought maybe it is used for the rear deck speakers (maybe someone could confirm this for me). Also am I able to upgrade the battery in the trunk on the left side behind the carpet and run my amp wires from that? Another upgrade I am looking into is HID upgrade but cannot really find a clear answer if they work in this year FFH and also do I need a relay harness and capacitors to run them. Any help and feedback would be greatly appreciated! Glad to be a part of the FFH community! Also is there a mobile app for iPhones that makes using this forum easier?
