  1. SYNC was available in the 2008 model year Focus which went into production in late 2007. As stated above, SYNC was not installed in any 2007 Fusion. Also, SYNC was not available when the 2008 model year Fusion first went into production but it was a late availability option. I can't recall exactly what date it was but when the factory installed SYNC was available it was standard on the SEL, optional on the SE and not available on the S version. It would be listed on the window sticker. Therefore there are some early build 2008 Fusion SELs that do not have SYNC. SYNC is a factory installed feature and is not sold as a separate package even for Dealership installation. I hope this answers your questions.
  2. I monitor various forums on behalf of Ford's Consumer Affairs and I hope you don't mind me posting here. I've looked around internally and I can confirm that the Order Guides have not been sent to the dealerships. As far as I can tell they have not even been published yet.
  3. Have you reported your ZUNE/SYNC issue to the SYNC support team or registered at syncmyride.com? I did a quick check and I didn't notice any unresolved ZUNE issues. Also, as a dealership representative you may want to report this to your SYNC specialist. He/she would have access to all the SYNC support people and materials.
  4. I've been monitoring several sites on behalf of Ford and this is the first time I've read about a problem with the dimming feature on the Fusion rearview mirror. I'd recommend that you take the vehicle to the dealership to inspect and test. I also checked for TSB's for this or related concerns and I couldn't find any for any Fusion model year. However, I'll forward a copy of this thread to the Fusion team. If you have additional feedback you'd like to share with Ford, please visit ford.com. Your comments and suggestions will be forwarded to the proper department for review.
  5. I've been monitoring several webpages on behalf of Ford and hope you don't mind if I clarify some information. Ford is committed to the success of SYNC and we are constantly updating our compatibility lists of cell phones and media devices. We've devoted a lot of resources to work out any issues. Although most phones and media sources have no compatibility issues, we are aware that some issues are not yet resolved. The cell phone issues usually arise due to peculiarities in the different types of phones and their applications of Bluetooth specifications. With that said, I recommend that you visit and register at www.syncmyride.com to get the latest information. If you're not finding what you need to make your SYNC experience what you expect, then please contact the SYNC support team by following the "contact us" link at syncmyride.com. Be ready to provide the firmware version of your device, if you know it. If you report the specifics of your issue and they cannot solve your problem right away, they will contact you back when the solution is available. We appreciate that you chose Ford for your new vehicle purchase.
