WTH? Am I understanding this right? It the lack of updated maps and Ford support for updated software?. If this is the case... Why isn't anyone informing the owners of OEM Navigation support or the lack there of software updates. Bought season tickets to great America in Gurnee Illinois. Made 13 trips and all thirteen trips GPS has went out showing red circle with line through GPS in bottom left corner. Basically arrow showing car location just floats across screen with a grid. Remains like this even after returning back home in Indiana. Turn car off wait 5 minutes and GPS will become responsive and start working. I had it do it once around South Bend IN. area. Did factory reset and never did it again since in Indiana. But every time along I94 just on the outskirts of Chicago. Took car to Pine Ford in La Porte Indiana. They didn't find any error codes tested APIM but nothing showed up defective or wrong. They said they turned off automatic updates and said nothing was wrong. I am calling BS. They know it is going out but know I am 3000 miles away from warranty running out at 125,000 miles

Very convenient for rain.. Allows you to open windows without rain flying dripping into your car. Also cut down on wind noise when fully opened. Outside of that, I have always liked the aesthetic look they give. There are full y chromed $130+ or like what I found on Amazon $46-$60 that retain the chrome look framing the window with just the shield having a smoked glass look. These seem to closely match the tinted windows on the car. I have noticed with strong crosswind the noise is there with Windows up or cracked. I'm pretty sure that is true on any vehicle with strong crosswinds.

I took it in last week. Finished the day early told them I wanted it reprogrammed along seeing why the car was stuck in EV mode and not reengaging the gas engine even while floored. They checked the battery and searched for error codes. They said they needed to have good reason to pull that update from Fords website ?? I said ,"a feature hasn't worked once that was billed as part of the cost of vehicle. I think that should qualify. He said that is $ 90 billed to Ford for us to do that. I sighed knowing I will be back with vengeance before 36,000 mile WARRANTY IS UP!

3 trips for multiple issues but the one that never gets addressed is: It has been low to mid 20"s and definitely NOT WORKING! Seats and steering wheel do not kick on with remote start. Yes all settings are switched to Auto even climate control. I even tried setting climate control to last setting. No go WHAT TO DO...I PAID FOR THESE FEATURES. I WANT THEM TO FUNCTION AS ADVERTISED!

Wouldn't you think The Dealership Mechanic would know this too. Ironically...As I put car in reverse leaving Dealership and after mechanic stating couldn't find anything wrong it flashed three times in "R" on shift dial and kicked back into. "P". Seen what I thought was one of the shop Mechanics called him over. Put it in reverse and it did it again. He said he wasn't a mechanic he just was the one who washes and details cars. Went to get a mechanic and they said all mechanics went to lunch. At that point...I washed my hands of this Dealership. Car has 18,000 miles I called customer service reported all issues and explained all they did was master reset sync 3 drove a little and gave it a clean bill of health. I will monitor this and raise hell the next time I'm in it and. Demand car be looked at while currently act up. It is a sad state of affairs when you buy all the bells and whistles, premium extended warranty, and purchased 3 fusions and Focus in 4 years ...Treated as if not important after contract is signed. Things better change or this Never owned anything but Ford customer will shop and buy the competitors brand. If I can set in car and within 5 minutes recreate it over and over..how much time do you think they took investigating the issues.

Ok, I noticed that seats and steering wheel do not kick on with remote start. Yes all settings are switched to Auto even climate control. I even tried setting climate control to last setting. No go. Now that being mentioned... This passed month.. I have experienced shift dial being hard to turn at times , car lunging forward when put in reverse. Then started flashing 3 times when put into reverse and kicking back into park(this is happening more frequently as time goes on). This passed Friday, I filled car up at gas station, left it running locked the doors. I came back out of store after 10 minutes, got into car, and had a big red square with triangle stating message," pull over safely now." I hit ok and noticed small triangle next to total mileage. Put car into drive , pulled out onto road and noticed car still in EV. I pushed pedal to the floor and nothing. EV pegged out and it would not engage gas engine. Did this repeatedly no change. I was driving right by a ford dealership stopped went into shop and told them what was going on. They wouldn't touch it. They wouldn't even hook it up to diagnostic. I begged, all they said was they wouldn't work on it and if they would it would be 3 weeks before I could get into them. UGH! Called Dealership where I bought it explained what was going on they said hold on. Came back and said all managers were busy waited another 40 minutes and then hung up. Called another Dealership where I had bought previous fusion. They said they would have a loaner. While on phone turned car off and back on error was gone drove to them got loner left car. I received phone call that nothing could be found wrong. All they did was drive it, did manufacturer reset on sync 3 and said no error codes were found. Here is the most frustrating part: I drove car to Dealership where I bought it while the car was consistently and pulled into Service bay . Gentleman walked. I showed him what was going and he said nothing they can do right now. Asked to pull it in while acting up to diagnose it. Nope! Said two weeks before they can get it in to look at it. I told them it may not be acting up then and you see it is doing it now. Nope! so , three Dealerships and no one is willing to look at car while it is doing it. Anyone else having similar issues with stuck in EV , steering wheel, front seats not kicking with remote start, sync 3 console blacking out and freezing up. A lot of issues and no help.

I was wondering how extended warranty works with Fusion hybrid vs Standard Fusion drivetrain? I purchased a warranty with interior and exterior Lighting package. $0 deductible , 125,000 miles for 3 years. I guess my question is: What is covered and not considered to be covered. The Hybrid brings into the picture additional components from standard gas vehicles.

That was one of my concerns with hybrids and high mileage. I just bought the FFH in August and now have 11297 miles already. I average 200 miles a day just for work then you tack on personal use. I can easily push 1500 miles a week up to 2000 miles. On occasions I have driven 520 for work in one day(rare). So, being an I.T. Field engineer I see day in and out the issues with lithium -ion batteries. Especially their degradation of their Health and recharge back to 100% capacity.
