My car suddenly stopped sending data to MyFordMobile. It started happening after going to NH and parking where there was no cell phone service. I also noticed that the ESN serial number was blank on the car display screen. I suspected that it might be a software problem that hadn't been noticed during testing where the software either, shuts down or goes into a loop, if no cell phone service was available. My son looked up recent service bulletins and found the problem. It requires that fuse #10 be removed for five minutes and replaced. Also, a software update is needed. As soon as he replaced the fuse the ESN number appeared. Now I just have to go in for a software update. This affects cars with build dates through 3/16/2017. I love having a Ford Tech in the family...

That's great. My son did run Oasis with my VIN. He also said that only certain build dates have this problem. I believe he said November 16 - March 17, or there abouts.

One pull - window closes and bounces back

Here is what he did. I watched. Took 10 minutes. "Verified onetouch feature working improperly. Reprogrammed DDM per SSM 46544. Performed all window initialization process with IDS. Retest OK." Good luck!

My son is a Ford tech. I had a four week old 2017 Energi. I had the same problem with windows going down as soon as they reached the top. He downloaded new updates to the window control module and recalibrated the windows. All done with a lap top. No disassembling or adjustment. All windows work great now.

I used the heat sparingly. The temps were 30-40's. Now I am getting 25 EV miles with temps 50+. Gas range is still low but fluctuating so I think it's trying to determine correct range. FYI I ran some calculations and found that the car is using 33.625 kW per gallon of gas. Also my 22 cents per kW makes gas cheaper which most people on the forum know. This doesn't include charging inefficiencies so it's even worse. I didn't buy the car to save a lot of money as I don't drive that much. It's awesome to drive electric.

Just bought a 2017 Fusion Energi last week. Things are going very well. Cold in the northeast but am getting 16-19 EV miles. Was wondering about the "Gasoline Range" value. When I picked up the car with 20 miles on it the gasoline range read 271 miles with a full tank of gas. I was expecting something in the 500's. My last car calculated this dynamically based on average fuel use over some recent time span multiplied by gallons in tank. So the Fusion must be doing something different. I assume that when I fill up the tank (maybe never, ha ha) the value will change? Does anyone know exactly how Ford calculates the value. I am at 168 miles and have used probably not even one gallon. Thanks
